Andrea Weinfurt joined Cision in 2004 as a research editor. In 2005, she joined Bacons' PRMediaNews.com Web site as an associate editor. In addition to covering placement opportunities and media news for The Navigator, she is responsible for researching magazines and maintaining the accuracy of Cision, media database. Prior to joining Cision, Andrea worked as an editorial assistant for the Minneapolis bureau of the Associated Press from March 2003 until April 2004. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn.
