The Navigator regrets to inform its readers that Lynn Gomez, assistant business editor for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel has passed away after battling cancer. She was 61. Gomez joined the Sun-Sentinel in the mid-1980s, working on computer graphics for the paper. After that, she worked for Reuters in London and New York until 1994. She eventually returned to the Sun-Sentinel and worked as a graphics editor until being appointed her most recent title.

Shifts in store for New York Times business editors

New_york_times International Herald Tribune business editor Liz Alderman, 3-314-143-9707, will move to The New York Times as contributing business editor for the publication. She will relocate from Paris at the end of July 2008. Concurrently, The New York Times' deputy business editor Tom Redburn, 212-556-1548, will be joining the International Herald Tribune in Paris in July 2008 as an assistant managing business editor.
